A New Name!
The SHingers will now be called Kidz Kompany. Shelley and I decided that it was time to come up with something permanent.
Also, we are so excited to be getting ready for our Christmas Concert on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. The Kidz have been working very hard to get things ready. Please invite all your friends and family to the LDS Stake Center at 5180 West 4700 South. It should be a very fun show!
Make sure your Kidz have their parts memorized. I will post the lyrics and the assigned parts. It's in PDF so ya'll should be able to view it on the web.
We've been having problems with some of the Kidz not participating in practices as well as they should. (My own children included!) Please remind the Kidz to do their best, to follow directions, sing the songs and do the actions at practice. They won't want to look silly on stage! :)
Some final notes:
1. Practices will be from 6:00-6:40 p.m. for both choirs during December at Heather's house. . . except the dress rehearsal on December 21st. It is from 5:30-6:15 p.m. at the same church we'll be performing at.
2. We need an extra practice. Most of the children are in our ward, so we will practice after the Primary Christmas Party on December 10th at the church. Please have your children there! (Those of you that aren't in our ward, please come from 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
I'll keep everyone posted with more as it comes up.
